Special Services for Seniors
Over the years we have met many seniors who do not need our caregiving services, but may need professional help organizing their lives, homes, and affairs. For this reason, we are now offering special services for seniors. These services are based on the particular needs of the community coupled with the skills of our members. Examples include:
In-Home Comprehensive Care and Safety Assessment – assess, advise, and facilitate best care practices and safety modifications to the home to ensure, safe and comfortable aging-in-place.
Organize Documents – put all life papers and information in one central, sharable hub. Pare down and shred unwanted paper.
Kitchen – set up pantries, declutter drawers, organize food storage as well as recipe collections.
Tech Support – open social media and email accounts to stay in touch with friends and family.
Medical Liaison – information bridge between you, your health providers, and your family.
Long Term Care Insurance – open and manage claims.
Party Planning – coordinate festivities for life’s milestones – including ‘‘celebrations of life’.
Coordinate outside contractors for home and garden projects.

Service Rates
In-Home Comprehensive Care and Safety Assessment
$150 (one-time fee)
* Meet with potential clients and/or their families to discuss goals and objectives.
* Assess the physical, emotional, mental, and social conditions of the client to determine the feasibility of achieving their goals.
* Develop a holistic, personalized, and moveable plan outlining the responsibilities of both Peninsula Homecare Cooperative and the family in achieving the ongoing care of the client. .
* Recommend and facilitate modifications to the home to enhance safety and accident prevention.
Caregiving Service Rates:
Level 1 - $43 per hour for shifts lasting 3 or more hours
Level 2 - $46 per hour for shifts lasting between 2 and 3 hours
Level 3 - $55 for shifts lasting between 1 and 2 hours
(minimum 1 hour)
Households Where 2 or More Residents Require Care
Level 1 - $46 per hour for shifts lasting 3 or more hours
Level 2 - $49 per hour for shifts lasting between 2 and 3 hours
Level 3 - $58 for shifts lasting between 1 and 2 hours (minimum 1 hour)
Long-Term Care Insurance - $75 per month
We will work with your LTCI provider to initiate you claim and reimburse your home care costs. This includes submitting necessary documents on a bi-weekly basis.
Special Services Rates
All special services are contract-based with a specified beginning and end date. Rates start at $58 to an hour. Larger projects may be contracted for a flat rate. We will work with you to determine the best option.

We are licensed through the Washington Department of Health. Our agency is fully bonded and insured. Collectively we have decades of experience in all aspects of caregiving.
