In 2020 the members passed covid guidelines. We are now reviewing these guidelines and voting on changes more appropriate for 2023.

Chose One: If a caregiver contracts covid from a client, how will they be compensated for missed days?
In 2020 members voted to only accept clients vaccinated against covid.
IN 2020 members voted to only hire caregivers vaccinated against covid.
HEPATITIS B SHOTS (UNRELATED TO COVID) Should PHC require all staff to get Hapatitis B shots?
In 2020, members agreed to the following "code of ethics". Should we disregard this code now? - "COVID-19 Code of Ethics for Caregivers I have a specific group of people with whom I share breathing space indoors. These are people I trust. They are my “bubble” or my “pod.” Everyone in my pod is committed to Covid safety. When/if we are indoors with anyone who is not a member of our pod, we stay at least 6 feet apart and wear masks. We limit our indoor time with others to essentials: work, buying groceries, and other necessities. Exceptions to this only include necessary closeness to perform work (i.e. helping a client shower or dress). We are not eating or drinking indoors around anyone other than those in our pod. Outdoors, we stay 6 feet away and masked or 12 feet if any of us are unmasked. If someone in my pod experiences any symptoms, we have a plan to communicate that with all other pod members, and I will communicate that with the CRC. If anyone in my pod finds out through contact tracing that they have had a possible exposure to a COVID-positive case, we have a plan to notify all the other pod members, and I will communicate that with the CRC. My pod is taking precautions whenever possible: curbside pickup, take-out dining, avoiding public facilities & gatherings, and following health and sanitation guidelines. "
