Before Shifts
Don clean clothing and a clean face mask.
Sanitize hands before entering a client’s home.
During Shifts
Wash hands immediately upon entering a client’s home.
Disinfect entry points - doorknobs, light switches, sink faucet, etc.
Encourage clients to wear a mask.
Remain 6 feet from clients when possible.
Encourage clients to wash their hands before and after eating, using the bathroom, or touching their face. Encourage clients to refrain from touching their face.
Wash hands before and after contact with a client.
Bring enough clean face masks to change into a clean one every 2-3 hours.
Using the back of the DOS sheet, record if a client has:
a. Cough
b. Shortness of breath
c. Chest tightness or pain
d. Fever – take and record temperature.
Report any positive symptoms to the office and to the JHC Corona Virus Hotline – 360.344.3094
Keep all high touch surfaces disinfected during and at the end of a shift.
Wash hands before leaving a client’s home.
Between Shifts
Change clothes between clients so that every shift begins with cleanliness!
At the end of a previous shift, change at the client’s house, bag dirty clothes in a clean bag, wash hands and depart.
Sanitize hands after leaving a client’s home.
Keep vehicles clean and sanitized.
After Shifts
Report any concerns about a client to the office: 360-385-9664.
Use hand sanitizer until hands can be washed at home.
Launder clothes & masks immediately.
